Wednesdays from 12:00pm to 12:30pm
(No meditation on July 17, July 24, November 27) Meditation July 10th will be held outside near the peace garden.
Take half an hour at lunchtime to relax, refresh and de-stress. Cultivate inner peace through a guided practice and enjoy the rest of your day with an inspired and positive mind. With regular practice these meditations help us to experience mental clarity, a sense of well-being, and increased love and compassion for others.
Note: There will be no meditation on July 17 and July 24.
Buddhist teacher, Jay Harnish, is a Foundation Program student at Heruka Buddhist Center. He has been studying Buddhism and meditation for over eight years.
4th Sundays from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
August 25th, September 22nd, October 27th, November 24th, December 29th
These meditation classes, suitable for all levels, will delve into methods to increase our compassion and love. We will both learn how to meditate on these sublime states of mind, and also discuss how to live them in our daily life. In this way, our work and home life become the path to enlightenment.
Classes are based on the book Eight Steps to Happiness by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
