In addition to weekly meditation classes, Heruka Center also offers the Foundation Program for those who want to study Mahayana Buddhism through a structured in-depth program.
The Foundation Program provides a chance to deepen our knowledge and experience of Buddhism through a structured program of study and meditation classes. It is an excellent basis for daily meditation practice.

FOUNDATION PROGRAM
In the Foundation Program, we engage in the systematic study of key
Buddhist texts in order to gain a deep and lasting understanding and
experience of the spiritual path, as well as an authentic confidence as a
meditator and practitioner. These study classes also help us to become
part of a community of practitioners who are sincerely putting the
teachings into practice.
With weekly reading assignments from the text, as well as commentary,
discussions and meditations on the week’s readings, these study classes
create the conditions for us to develop deep inner experience of the
teachings.
ABOUT THE BOOK - JOYFUL PATH OF GOOD FORTUNE
The Path to the Supreme Happiness of Enlightenment
We all have the potential for self-transformation, and a limitless capacity for the growth of good qualities. But to fulfill this potential we need to know what to do at every stage of our journey.
In Joyful Path of Good Fortune we find a clear and comprehensive explanation of the entire path to enlightenment, presented in the practical sequence known as Kadam Lamrim.
With this book, the author Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
offers us step-by-step guidance on the meditation practices that will
lead us to lasting inner peace and happiness.
With extraordinary clarity, he presents all Buddha’s teachings in the
order in which they are to be practiced, enriching his explanation with
stories and illuminating analogies.
This book is a perfect guidebook to the Buddhist path.
"The practice of Lamrim is very important because everyone needs
to cultivate peaceful states of mind. By listening to or reading these
teachings, we can learn how to control our mind and always keep a good
motivation in our heart. This will make all our daily actions pure and
meaningful."
