Guided meditations watchable on demand
ABOUT THIS MEDITATION CHALLENGE
Join this challenge if you are interested in a very happy week that will help you with the rest of your life!
Rejoicing is the Buddhist mind that is often commonly known as practicing “gratitude.” Buddhist rejoicing meditations are naturally joyful and uplifting. They are easy antidotes to depression, discouragement and jealousy.
With Buddhist rejoicing, we tap into a deep feeling of appreciation and then let our mind soak in this happiness, like a hot-tub of joy. Once we cultivate the mind of rejoicing in meditation we can easily bring it into our daily life, even while relaxing alone or with friends and family.
Each 45-minute video stream will be available for three days. Watch, listen, and be guided in meditation on your own schedule. Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike. Everyone is welcome.
7 BUDDHIST REJOICING MEDITATIONS
In this 7-day challenge, we will engage in seven
Buddhist rejoicing meditations to uplift our mind. Buddha taught that
rejoicing is the “supreme virtue” and gave specific objects that are especially beneficial to rejoice in. Each day for seven days, Resident
Teacher Trina Gunther will guide a rejoicing meditation on a different
joyful object.
"Rejoicing in other people's happiness or good qualities is one of the purest of all virtuous minds."
