Work a Day for World Peace!
October 19th 2018
On Friday, October 19th, 2018 please
join us to contribute one day’s wage to the International Temples
Project (ITP) an International fund dedicated to public benefit.
The International Temples Project was
founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso with the aim to introduce the
Buddhist faith and practice of the New Kadampa Tradition publicly, and
to show how individuals and society benefit through the practice of
Buddhism in modern day life.
Constantly adapting to meet the needs
of modern society, the International Temples Project presently achieves
its aim through creating traditional and non traditional temples,
meditation and retreat centres, and through the activities of World
Peace cafés and Tharpa Publications.

About Festivals and Celebrations
year the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union
(NKT-IKBU) organizes a world wide program of special courses on
Buddhism and meditation that explain how to apply Buddha’s teachings
(Dharma) to modern living. The program includes International
Festivals, National Festivals and Dharma Celebrations.
These Festivals and Dharma Celebrations provide a precious
opportunity to study and practise the special presentation of modern
Buddhism taught by
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the Founder of the NKT.
The events vary in length from two days to two weeks, but whatever
their duration they all offer a vacation with a difference – a chance to
break free from the hectic routines of daily life and focus on the
things that really matter. You will come away not only refreshed and
relaxed but also spiritually re-energised. For festivals and celebrations world-wide, visit
